About

Based in Cambridge, UK, the Brain Cancer Virtual Institute unites clinicians and scientists working to improve outcomes for brain cancer patients.​

With funding from Cancer Research UK (CRUK), and working with partners including the CRUK RadNet programme, the CRUK Children's Brain Tumour Centre of Excellence and members across Cambridge, the BCVI is driving forward new developments in brain cancer research.

  • Better characterisation of brain cancers in the clinical setting

  • Better clinical trials exploring the potential of novel therapies and combinations of therapies

  • Combinations of informatic, radiological and -omic datasets

  • Better monitoring of patients through their cancer journey

Led by Mr Stephen Price and Mr Richard Mair, the BCVI is part of the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre.
